Volkswagen Golf 
The Volkswagen Golf is a three to five door hatchback which is classed as a medium family car. The Golf has been a huge triumph for Volkswagen and is possibly their most successful car since the Beetle. The Volkswagen Golf has been on the scene since 1974 and is currently in its 6th generation with the 7th generation model expected in 2013.
Volkswagen Polo
The Volkswagen Polo is another important car for the German car manufacturer, and it has been around for as long as the Golf. The Polo is classed as a supermini and it can take the form of a saloon, coupe, estate or the most popular hatchback. The Polo is now in its fifth generation which began in 2009 and has been very well received winning the 2010 European Car of the Year amongst many other awards.
Volkswagen Passat
The Passat was introduced to the market by Volkswagen as a large family car in 1973. The Passat is currently in its 6th generation which is known as Passat B6 and the B7 and has been produced since 2005. There is also a Passat CC, which stands for a Passat “Comfort Coupe” which was introduced in 2008 to compete with the Mercedes CLS. The Passat has also received a fair few facelifts in the last few years to keep it from being dated.
